Yas Island, one of the world’s leading leisure and entertainment destinations, celebrated the new year with a live Bollywood performance by megastar Atif Aslam, at Etihad Arena, as well as a colorful fireworks display on Yas Bay. 

The Pakistani pop star, Atif Aslam, took to the stage on New Year’s Eve to perform his biggest hits, live in front of Bollywood fans for the first time in Abu Dhabi at Etihad Arena. As part of the festivities, the Island was illuminated on Thursday and Friday with its iconic and festive fireworks displays as visitors marveled from Yas Bay, celebrating the arrival of 2022. 

Throughout the festivities, stringent precautionary measures including social distancing and mandatory facemasks were in place to ensure visitor safety while enjoying the celebrations.
