Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) announced today the signing of an agreement with Miral to sponsor three international events hosted by Abu Dhabi in 2021. Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading curator of experiences, will sponsor the third edition of the UAE Tour 2021, the Abu Dhabi World Triathlon Championship 2021, and the 2021 World Swimming Championships.
His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of ADSC, and Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Chief Executive Officer of Miral, inked the deal at the Miral headquarters in Abu Dhabi this week.
HE Al Awani praised the distinguished partnership with Miral and its positive role in sponsoring three international sporting events which Abu Dhabi is set to host in 2021, saying: “Miral has been a committed and a crucial partner in the success of our sporting events in previous years. We look forward to continuing working with them to strengthen this solid partnership with more success, and extend our sincere gratitude for their unwavering support of our ambitious event agenda to provide greater achievements for Abu Dhabi on an international scale.”
As for Al Zaabi, he commented saying: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor international events of this caliber, together with our longstanding partners at Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC). Having these international sporting events choose Yas Island as their home is testament to their trust in the safe, world-class infrastructure and facilities we offer on the island. We very much look forward to hosting these exciting events, that will deliver significant economic returns for the Emirate and Yas Island, which is integral to positioning it as a global destination for leisure and entertainment.”
