Miral, Abu Dhabi’s creator of destinations announced today that A’L BAHAR, an 80,000 sqm beachfront destination on Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, now complete, continues to bring leisure, entertainment, fun and wellness to the community of Abu Dhabi.
The development of A’L BAHAR started in November 2017, with the beachfront opening doors at the annual Mother of The Nation Festival in March 2018.Its area stretches more than half a kilometer in length on Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, with F&B, Retail, Health, Wellbeing and Entertainment facilities spreading across the whole destination.
The destination includes 20 F&B and Retail shops such as Depresso, Margherita, Haagen Dazs, Tim Hortons and much more. The beachfront also comprises of Health and Wellbeing activities such as free access to sports facilities; basketball and beach volleyball courts, beach football pitches, an outdoor gym and a kid’s play area. Well-known fitness facility Fitness by the Shore has opened up offering a wide range of fitness classes as well asoutdoor yoga and pilates classes from yoga experts Bodytree.
A’L BAHAR also features an array of entertainment related activities, including AquaFun, an inflatable waterpark concept and an “I Love AD” floating structure.
Since its opening last March, and as a continuation to the hugely popular festival, A’L BAHAR has hosted Live Music, Kids Carnivals and other community activities and events. This season is being launched with a Beach Bash starting on 27 September for 3 days and followed by a number of events that are open for the public and compliment the destinations current offerings and Miral’s vision of creating immersive experiences in Abu Dhabi.
