Etihad Arena’s high-tech facade significantly reduces solar heat gain during the day while radiating light and energy onto an adjacent boardwalk and across Yas Bay at night, just one of the sustainable design features which led to the Arena being awarded the Sustainable Building Design of the Year by MENA Green Building Awards.
