Established in May 2011, Miral has played a key role in the rapid growth of Abu Dhabi’s leisure and entertainment sector, we aim to contribute to the capital’s long-term development as a sustainable, diversified and globally-integrated economy.

With landmark projects on Yas Island and #inAbuDhabi, we have transformed the sector, strengthening the Emirate’s reputation as a global tourism destination with unique attractions and world-class infrastructure.

Since becoming part of our diverse asset management portfolio in 2011, Yas Marina Abu Dhabi has won several awards, including a 5 Star Gold Anchor rating.

The Fountains at Yas Mall became part of our ever expanding asset management portfolio.

The destination features a range of casual dining outlets, and is home to an al fresco dancing fountain show.

Our current Chairman H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak and CEO Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi joined Miral.

Their extraordinary leadership has contributed to the development and management of Abu Dhabi’s most renowned destinations.

The development of the Flying Aces roller coaster was first addition to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s rides and experiences in 2016. 

The record breaking roller coaster scales 63 metres at a spectacular 51-degree incline, making it the world’s highest roller coaster loop.

We expanded our geographic reach of projects from Yas Island to greater Abu Dhabi. 

Wahat Al Karama, which translates to ‘Oasis of Dignity’, was developed as a permanent memorial commemorating the UAE’s heroes. 

Alongside the 31 plinth memorial, there is also The Memorial Plaza, featuring a 1,200 seater amphitheatre and a Pavillion of Honor, which displays the names of fallen heroes, and relics of their memory.

A new thrilling experience was added to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi in 2017.

Turbo Track shoots guests through the iconic red roof into the sky, and back down in reverse, creating the experience a of vertical climb and an epic zero gravity fall.

The mega development of Yas Bay broke ground, a significant step in transforming the southern end of Yas Island.

Set to become Abu Dhabi’s number one waterfront destination, Yas Bay will attract over 10,000 residents and professionals in the next few years.

We are excited that Yas Bay Waterfront is opening soon and will feature never-before seen dining concepts in Abu Dhabi!

Etihad Arena’s high-tech facade significantly reduces solar heat gain during the day while radiating light and energy onto an adjacent boardwalk and across Yas Bay at night, just one of the sustainable design features which led to the Arena being awarded the Sustainable Building Design of the Year by MENA Green Building Awards.

The Cinesplash experience was created for Yas Waterworld in 2018. The one-of-a-kind attraction see’s the entire cinema flood with water up to the knees plus special effects from waterfalls, moving seats to water explosions.

The cutting edge water effects have been unified to create the world’s most immersive cinema experience.

In 2018, we opened the world’s largest indoor theme park, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island.

The magnitude of this project was immense, featuring 6 Immersive Lands, 29 State-of-the-Art Rides and attractions, and holding the title of the world’s first Warner Bros. branded indoor theme park.

Our partnerships with leading international brands, such as Warner Bros. have placed us at the forefront of the fastest-growing theme park market in the world, while our contribution to the leisure and entertainment sector in Abu Dhabi and on Yas Island illustrate the breadth of our focus.

Qasr Al Watan features an incredible light and sound show titled ‘Palace in Motion’ which was designed and developed by Miral in 2019. 

The show combines tradition with modernity, telling the story of the UAE from past to present and future, highlighting the breadth of Miral’s expertise in creating unique experiences.

CLYMB Abu Dhabi, a multiple world-record breaking indoor adventure hub offering world-class skydiving and climbing experiences, opened in 2019. 

Developed by Miral, CLYMB Abu Dhabi has since been awarded ‘World’s Largest Indoor Skydiving Flight Chamber’ and ‘‘World’s Tallest Indoor Artificial Climbing Wall’ by Guinness World Records, and voted Middle East’s Leading Adventure Tourist Attraction!

In partnership with Hilton hotel group, Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island was developed on Yas Bay in 2021, offering world-class hospitality in an unbeatable setting.

The 545-room hotel complements our leisure and entertainment attractions on Yas Bay, bringing our vision for the waterfront to life, and further positioning Yas Island as a top global destination.
