Suleiman Hamdan is the Chief Financial Officer at Miral, where he leads the company’s financial strategy and governance, enabling the delivery of world-class entertainment and leisure experiences that contribute to Abu Dhabi’s economic diversification and global positioning. With over 25 years of experience, Suleiman brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, transformation, and operational excellence.
Since joining Miral in 2011, Suleiman has played a pivotal role in supporting the financial growth and long-term financial resilience of iconic theme parks such as Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, and SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping robust financial frameworks for Miral’s expanding portfolio of world-class experiences and destinations. He has championed strategic financial planning and governance, enabling the company to drive value creation, optimise investment, and deliver on its ambitious vision for Yas Island and Saadiyat Island.
In addition to his executive role, Suleiman serves as a Board Member at Miral Experiences and sits on five executive and nine advisory committees across Miral. He also holds external board and committee roles, including serving on the Audit Committee of Noon.
Suleiman holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Administrative Sciences – Accounting from Zarka Private University. He has also completed an executive education programme in Mergers and Acquisitions at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
