Sam Cook is a highly accomplished Executive Director of Development at Miral, spearheading its ambitious development portfolio across Yas Island and Saadiyat Island. With nearly two decades of experience and technical expertise in driving projects from conception to completion, Sam has a proven track record of delivering major mixed-use and asset-specific projects across the UK, Europe, and the UAE.

In his role with Miral, he manages the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept and financial modelling to design management, stakeholder engagement, and commercial negotiations. He currently leads the development of the newly announced Disney Abu Dhabi – the first of its kind in the region in collaboration with global entertainment leader Disney – and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi. Sam has consistently delivered exceptional results on complex, large-scale projects and was instrumental in driving project success for Yas Bay, The WB™ Abu Dhabi – the world’s first hotel branded by Warner Bros., Curio Collection by Hilton, and, most recently, teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi – an immersive and innovative destination that reflects the fusion of art and technology within Abu Dhabi’s ambitious cultural vision, to name a few.
