Executive Director Projects Delivery

Mark Morais is the Executive Director of Projects Delivery at Miral, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Abu Dhabi’s flagship cultural and entertainment destinations. With over three decades of experience in construction, project management, and large-scale development across various sectors, including leisure, hospitality, and residential, Mark brings extensive expertise in leading complex projects from concept to completion.

Since joining Miral in 2016, Mark has led the successful delivery of several landmark projects, including SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Etihad Arena, The WB™ Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton, CLYMB™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, and teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi. Mark’s leadership drives effective collaboration across diverse project teams, ensuring every Miral development meets and exceeds rigorous standards of excellence while contributing to Abu Dhabi’s long-term tourism vision.

Prior to joining Miral, he held senior roles at the Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), where he managed the delivery of major cultural landmarks including The Louvre Abu Dhabi and The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and at Aldar Properties PJSC, where he played a key role in the delivery of large-scale developments such as the World Trade Center Abu Dhabi, Al Raha Gardens, Motorworld, Al Shamkha Abu Dhabi and Al Zeina, Al Raha Beach. He also served as Project Director at Omniyat Investment and Management LLC, leading high-end real estate developments and overseeing design, finance, and approval processes. Earlier in his career, he worked with The Peebles Corporation as Vice President of Construction and Development and as senior Projects Manager at Jacobs Engineering in the United States.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis from the University of Maryland, College Park.
