Hazem Abu Hantash
General Counsel
Hazem Abu Hantash is the General Counsel at Miral, where he oversees all aspects of the company’s legal, compliance, and governance functions. He also serves as Secretary of the Board for Miral LLC and its subsidiaries.
With over two decades of experience, Hazem brings a wealth of expertise in legal strategy, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, ensuring Miral’s projects, partnerships, and operations are managed with robust legal structures and aligned with best practices.
Since joining in 2011, Hazem has played a pivotal role in supporting the legal framework and long-term governance of Miral’s portfolio of iconic theme parks. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping robust legal structures for Miral’s expanding portfolio of world-class experiences and destinations. He has championed strategic legal planning and compliance, enabling the company to drive value creation, optimize partnerships, and deliver on its ambitious vision for Yas Island and Saadiyat Island.
Prior to joining Miral, Hazem was part of Aldar Properties PJSC, where he advised on corporate, commercial, and real estate matters, as well as licensing, joint ventures, and compliance across the group’s operations. He gained significant experience in law firms, working with leading international and regional consultancies, including Al Tamimi & Co. as a Corporate/Commercial Lawyer and Denton Wilde Sapte in Abu Dhabi as a Legal Advisor.
Hazem holds a Master’s Degree in International and Commercial Law from the University of Buckingham (UK) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Jordan (Amman).
