With over a decade of experience in leading organisations in the UAE, Abdulaziz Al Khoori is a seasoned professional and a multi-discipline specialised strategist. In his current role as the Executive Director – Group Strategy & Transformation at Miral, Abdulaziz is entrusted with steering Miral’s strategic direction to maintain its leadership position in a highly competitive and dynamic market. Leveraging his profound knowledge in Strategy, Al Khoori is spearheading a comprehensive long-term growth, competitiveness, and innovation strategy. His objective is to further strengthen Miral’s position, reinforce existing partnerships, and formulate, foster, and implement new diversified strategic initiatives aligned with Miral’s core values, ensuring accelerated business growth.

Prior to his appointment at Miral in January 2022, Al Khoori served as the Senior Manager of the Strategy Division at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). During his four-year tenure at ADGM, Al Khoori played a vital role in developing comprehensive strategic management frameworks, encompassing key areas such as planning, performance, and enterprise risk management. He also played a key role in the development of ADGM’s 2021-2025 corporate and sector strategies and spearheaded the implementation of a new performance management solution that enabled tracking the progress of strategic goals and performance.

Al Khoori spent over a decade at Aldar Properties, where he gained extensive experience in various critical positions across business strategy. These roles paved the way for his progression to senior roles within the Strategy Planning, Business Performance, and Risk Management Division.

Al Khoori holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Committed to personal growth, he has completed multiple programs from globally renowned educational institutions in strategy and leadership, including programs at Cambridge University Judge Business School and London Business School in the UK, as well as a Real Estate Management program from the Harvard Business School in Boston, USA. He has also obtained technical certifications such as the KPI professional and practitioner from The KPI Institute in Dubai. Abdulaziz has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades for his contributions in innovation, leadership, and teamwork throughout his career.
